Example Program for AS40 ControlB.19 Analog Output Connection (Optional)The analog output connector on the ICS-1000 rear panel outputs an analog voltagesignal proportional to the conductivity measured by the cell. The output is filteredusing the selected data rise time. The analog output can be connected to ananalog-to-digital converter such as an integrator or other recording device. Referto the documentation for the device for connection instructions.Analog output is 0 to 1V, scaled to the selected range. For an example setup for ICS-1000 stand-alone operation with an AS50autosampler, see Section C.3.B.20 Pressurizing the Eluent Reservoir (Optional)The ICS-1000 does not require pressurized reservoirs. However, if eluent ismanually degassed or is sensitive to contamination, Dionex recommendspressurizing the reservoir with helium or nitrogen. The air regulator accessorybracket and other items needed for pressurizing the eluent reservoir must beordered separately (P/N 060054).B-46 Doc. 031879-01 3/03
