Safety messages appear in bold type and are accompanied byicons, as shown below.Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, willresult in death or serious injury.Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided,could result in death or serious injury.Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, mayresult in minor or moderate injury. Also used to identify a situation orpractice that may seriously damage the instrument, but will not causeinjury.Indicates that the function or process of the instrument may beimpaired.
