ICS-1000 Ion Chromatography SystemB.18 Connecting an AS40 Automated Sampler (Optional)1. Place the AS40 to the leftof the ICS-1000 on theworkbench.2. Open the front door of theICS-1000 and thread theoutlet line from the AS40through the left side slotat the front of the ICS-1000.3. Locate the relay control cable (P/N 047946) supplied with the AS40.5. Remove the 2-position connector plug from the pair of wires labeled LOAD onthe relay control cable.6. Locate the 12-position connectorplug (P/N 923686) in the ICS-1000 Ship Kit (P/N 057905) (seeFigure B-43).7. Attach the red wire from therelay control cable to position 1on the plug, and attach the greenwire to position 2.
