Some of the voltages present areat incoming line potential. To avoid electric shock hazard ordamage to equipment, only qualified service personnel shouldperform the following procedure. Thoroughly read andunderstand the procedure before beginning. If an event does notoccur while performing this procedure, Do Not Proceed.Remove Power including user supplied control voltages. <strong>User</strong>supplied voltages may exist even when main <strong>AC</strong> power is notapplied to then drive. Correct the malfunction before continuing.Prepare for <strong>Drive</strong> Start-UpBefore Applying Power to the <strong>Drive</strong>Important: If you have a <strong>Drive</strong>Logix application, you must first connectthe battery before starting this section.❏1. Confirm that motor wires are connected to the correct terminals and aresecure. Confirm Frame 5 transformer connections (refer to page 1-11).T1UT2VT3WPE❏❏2. If an encoder is used, confirm the encoder wires are connected to thecorrect terminals and are secure.3. Confirm that all control inputs are connected to the correct terminals andare secure.
