Bankphb Plc: Retail Branch Manager - Lagos, Nigeria (Jul 2007 - Sep 2009)<br />

Bankphb is a leading Nigerian Bank with branches in the largest West African countries and Europe with strategic focus in retail and<br />

commercial banking.<br />

� Pioneered the strategic structure <strong>of</strong> a retail banking branch and led a team <strong>of</strong> eight to achieve over 75% <strong>of</strong> US$500m financial target by<br />

acquiring new retail customer accounts for the branch.<br />

� Formulated a retail marketing and business strategy that led to the acquisition <strong>of</strong> over 15,000 new accounts using market storms, house to<br />

house visits and telemarketing campaigns.<br />

� Co-ordinated staff for UBA Chevron Texaco Community, Lekki branch and initiated a strategic plan to target Chevron Texaco contractors<br />

and <strong>of</strong>fer LPO finance and commercial credit, which helped in meeting 65% <strong>of</strong> income target within six months.<br />

� Developed a new account acquisition plan that helped to capture 50% <strong>of</strong> market share within three months <strong>of</strong> operation, through using<br />

� Assisted in business development, marketing and liability generation for the insurance company endowment fund and general business<br />

insurance, developing various marketing techniques and methods.<br />

� Handled and issued unit reports and daily reviews <strong>of</strong> new business records, which were used to evaluate performance.<br />
