Panache Publishers: Publisher/Business <strong>Development</strong> - New Delhi, India (Jun 2003 - Dec 2008)<br />

Launched Panache Publishers as a contract publishing house catering to a niche audience <strong>of</strong> diplomatic missions, government<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficials, business and media. The company identified communication goals <strong>of</strong> the clients and successfully implemented the same by<br />

producing publications which were handed over to the client under a unique business model.<br />

� Managed and co-ordinated a team <strong>of</strong> 28 full time and ad hoc team members. The team members included marketers, graphic designers,<br />

editors and print production specialists.<br />

� Successfully negotiated publishing contracts for the company from clients ranging from diplomatic missions, trade commissions and<br />

chambers <strong>of</strong> commerce. These publications were meant for a niche audience and included commemorations <strong>of</strong> high level<br />

communication strategies. This entailed deciding the promotional objectives, target audience, circulation strategy and editorial contents for<br />

desired impact.<br />

� Received appreciation letters from clients such as the Trade Commission <strong>of</strong> Austria, (New Delhi), and the Embassy <strong>of</strong> Afghanistan, (New<br />

Delhi) for quality publications.<br />

A leading publisher <strong>of</strong> niche publications in India. L.B. Associates is a diversified company with publishing as its core business. The<br />

company publishes leading magazines including Diplomatist, Survive and Creature Companion.<br />

� Successfully diversified the company from the existing client base <strong>of</strong> diplomatic missions to trade blocks, state and central government<br />
