Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH (MOK): Public Relations and Human Resources Assistant - Almaty, Kazakhstan (Aug 2006 - ����������<br />
Branch <strong>of</strong> Maersk Oil, a top 25 independent oil and gas producing company, involved in exploration and production <strong>of</strong> oil and gas,<br />
from two oilfields in the north-western and western parts <strong>of</strong> Kazakhstan.<br />
� Managed the marketing and recruitment <strong>of</strong> promising technical graduates to Maersk Oil International Technology and Science (MITAS)<br />
Education Programme. Marketing campaign included MITAS presentations in major technical universities throughout Kazakhstan, which<br />
resulted in hiring talented students to meet the recruitment target, and will run until 2011.<br />
� Worked closely with corporate communications in the company's headquarters, to produce footage and advertising material (budget:<br />
US$60k) to be used at career fairs and international exhibitions (KIOGE). MOK exhibition stand successively gained a recognition award<br />
(2006-2008) and footage was used in the corporate video on the health and safety policy.<br />
� Liaised on a regular basis with the European Business Association and Kazakhstan Petroleum Associations, regional supervisory and<br />
ministerial authorities on MOK membership and sponsorship initiatives.<br />
� Represented MOK branch at the internal corporate communications conferences and semi-annual learning board alignment meetings.<br />
Agenda included marketing <strong>of</strong> education programmes, development <strong>of</strong> in-house training and organisation <strong>of</strong> development plans.<br />
� Supported functions <strong>of</strong> senior human resources specialist in assessment, employment, compensation and co-ordination with recruitment<br />

� Conducted a fast-track recruitment campaign in co-operation with human resourse consultant, which led to testing and employment <strong>of</strong> 45<br />

� Co-ordinated a Nescafe project with six members <strong>of</strong> the public relations department, aimed at introducing a c<strong>of</strong>fee culture to a traditional<br />
tea-drinking society. Project included a large market research and promotion campaign, which resulted in installation <strong>of</strong> c<strong>of</strong>fee machines in<br />
major Kazakhstani cities.<br />
American Red Cross Organisation: Internship - Rock Island, Quad Cities, IL, USA (Jan 2000 - Jun 2000)<br />
Humanitarian worldwide organisation providing emergency assistance, disaster relief and education.<br />
� Designed layout <strong>of</strong> local magazines and newsletters on first-aid assistance.<br />
� Promoted first-aid and volunteer service opportunities at the job fairs in local educational institutions.<br />
