� Established trade relationships with 16 Unilever companies in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Boosted the home and personal<br />

care (HPC) inter-company business revenue to US$58m in 2008, enjoying 51% compound annual growth rate from 2006 to 2008.<br />

� Supervised all HPC new product launch projects for export business, monitoring development, manufacture and delivery processes by<br />

project schedule control, multi-functional co-ordination and crisis resolution. Fulfilled the target <strong>of</strong> 100% on-time delivery for new launch<br />

projects every year.<br />

� Set up and managed a quantitative analysis tool to evaluate customer satisfaction rate, which achieved 92% in 2008, through constant<br />

evaluation and feedback related improvements.<br />

� Reduced business wastage by 65% through demand forecast accuracy improvement, inventory optimisation and quality control from<br />

procurement to logistics.<br />

� Enforced the control over cash flow in a variety <strong>of</strong> ways, including quarterly transfer price examinations, payment term reviews <strong>of</strong> new<br />

contracts, weekly trade receivable reminders and overdue payment collections.<br />

� Won �The Great Potential Prize��in 2007 for outstanding achievement and future potential in the organisation; only four <strong>of</strong> 90 managers<br />

Unilever (China) Company, Limited: Project Co-ordinator <strong>of</strong> Foods Research & <strong>Development</strong> - Shanghai, China (Jul 2005 - Oct 2006)<br />

� Initiated a set <strong>of</strong> working procedures to improve cross-functional communication among marketing, supply chain and research and<br />

development departments in new product development projects and cost saving projects. Included prioritising research and development<br />

resources based on potential turnover and cost analysis, project schedule alignment after feasibility checks and project progress periodic<br />

reviews.<br />

� Successfully co-ordinated the research and development and manufacturing team on commissioning arrangements and raw material<br />

inspection standards during new product launch projects, ensuring the highest possible standard across all areas.<br />

� Provided food safety laws and regulations support to reduce the legal risks and avoid the trade barriers in export business, ensuring that the<br />

organisation maintained a positive corporate image.<br />

� Established and maintained the raw material specification database to ensure finished goods safety from origin, including manufacturers'<br />

qualification, foods additives and allergens statement, genetically-modified organism free declarations and cross-contamination prevention.<br />

As a result, all food brands (Knorr, Lipton, Skippy) developed excellent brand reputations in China, without any safety issues during this<br />

period.<br />

� Assisted procurement team to select alternative suppliers based on above database. With backup suppliers at home and abroad, the<br />

company sustained production even in the crises <strong>of</strong> mad cow disease and bird flu.<br />

� Awarded �The Top Performance Prize��in 2006 for outstanding achievement, only two <strong>of</strong> 40 received this award.<br />

Fudan University Environmental Protection Association: President - Shanghai, China (Apr 2002 - Mar 2003)<br />

� Accomplished the mission to become �The Five Star Student Association in Fudan University��in 2002.<br />

� Advocated and designed the recyclable paper telephone top-up cards as substitute to plastic cards. China Telecommunications Company<br />

(top three in China telephone communication industry) adopted this business model in 2003.<br />

� Led the association and several college faculties to launch an environmental production education programme towards primary and<br />

secondary school students on Chongming Island in Shanghai, which was a critical part <strong>of</strong> the �Yellow Sea Eco-regional Sustainable<br />

<strong>Development</strong> Programme��initiated by The World Wildlife Fund, along with government <strong>of</strong>ficers, business leaders and volunteers from<br />

China, Japan and South Korea.<br />

� Invited Dr. Jane Goodall and British Petroleum Company to give presentations in Fudan University for biodiversity protection and the vision <strong>of</strong><br />

cleaner production respectively.<br />
