� Successfully controlled the quality, (after being monitored for one week), of lactic ferment, used by a global brand name in their probiotic
drink, adhering to the company's strict guidelines.
� Attended weekly team meetings, alongside technicians and managers, listening to the briefings concerning improvements of the quality
control process and analysing the results. As part of the course, wrote a report explaining role and outcomes from this two month project,
delivered to the lecturer responsible for the quality standards and procedures within the industry department.
The Colomer Group: Trainee - Spain (Jul 2007 - Aug 2007)
A globally recognised leader in the beauty industry B2B and B2C, manufacturing skin creams shampoos and other beauty products.
� Conducted water quality analysis tests for the water treatment department, analysing the results and reporting to the senior engineer in
charge of the department, ensuring that the waste from the manufacturing process met with national environmental policies.
� Observed the manufacturing processes of the company on a visit to one of the plants, accompanied by an engineer, looking at the
machines and technology used in production of beauty products, the type of industrial processes used, through to the distribution channels.
A report was then compiled with the findings of the visit and submitted to a lecturer within the school.
