• Operational analysis:<br />

o <strong>Traffic</strong> volumes at this intersection were substantially lower than capacity and even<br />

increasing the traffic volumes on each approach by 25 percent did not cause any impact<br />

on the overall AVD and along major and minor street approaches. LOS and vehicular<br />

delay <strong>for</strong> each walking speed scenario essentially did not differ from the existing<br />

conditions (the overall intersection LOS and minor street LOS remained at LOS B and<br />

the major approach LOS remained at LOS C <strong>for</strong> all volume and pedestrian walking<br />

speed scenarios analyzed).
