Figure A-6 shows the responses provided under the traffic operations criterion. As shown, “high traffic<br />

volumes” received the greatest number of responses (33 percent). Other traffic operations characteristics<br />

mentioned in lower numbers included high speeds, pedestrian-vehicular conflict areas, and the<br />

location of an existing pedestrian-actuated signal at the intersection.<br />
