CEGLÉD
The town of Cegléd is situated in the gate of the Great Plain, in Pest county. The origin of its name is
”cigle” which was the ancient name of a willow species (ceglefűzfa) that completely covered the area in
the time of the Settlement of the Magyars in Hungary. Today, the town is often referred to as the town
of trees and flowers. The people of Cegléd are trying to make their town a paradise for those wishing
to relax and find cure; their means thereto is the compelling Thermal Bath of Cegléd, among others.
CEGLÉD
Die Stadt Cegléd liegt am Tor zur Tiefebene im Komitat Pest. Sie wurde nach dem Weidenbaum
benannt, der zu Zeiten der Landnahme die Gegend völlig bedeckte. Cegléd wird heute häufig die
Stadt der Bäume und Blumen genannt. Die Einwohner tun viel dafür, dass ihre Stadt ein Paradies
für Urlauber und Kurgästesei, wozu auch das imposante Cegléder Thermalbad beiträgt.

La città di Cegléd è situata alle porte dell’Alföld, nella regione di Pest. Il suo nome deriva da
un tipo di salice che, ai tempi dell’arrivo nella patria odierna, ricopriva completamente questo
territorio. Ancora oggi questa città è chiamata anche la città degli alberi e dei fiori. Gli abitanti si
impegnano affinché la loro città sia considerata un paradiso per chi vuole riposarsi e curarsi, a ciò
serve l’imponente Bagno termale di Cegléd.
CEGLÉD
Cegléd városa az Alföld kapujában, Pest megyében helyezkedik el. Nevét a ceglefűzfáról kapta,
mely a honfoglalás idején teljesen benőtte ezt a területet. A várost ma is gyakran hívják a fák
és virágok városának. A lakosság arra törekszik, hogy városuk a pihenni és gyógyulni vágyók
paradicsoma legyen, melyhez eszközül szolgál az impozáns Ceglédi Termálfürdő is.
