SZÉCHENYI BATH<br />
This magnificent building, which is Europe’s biggest thermal<br />
bath complex, was Pest’s first bath. Thanks to mining<br />
engineer Vilmos Zsigmondy’s discovery the bath was in<br />
partial operation in 1881. Later, it was rebuilt according to<br />
the plans of Győző Czigler to meet the age’s requirements<br />
and it became well-known as the Széchenyi Bath. Since then<br />
it has always been a popular place.<br />
DAS SZÉCHENYI-BAD<br />
Dieses großartige Bad, das zu den größten europäischen<br />
Bädern gehört, war das erste Heilbad von Pest. Dank dem<br />
Bergingenieur, Vilmos Zsigmondy funktionierte es schon<br />
1881 als provisorisches Bad. Später wurde es der damaligen<br />
Zeit entsprechend nach den Plänen von Győző Czigler<br />
umgebaut, und 1913 kannte man es schon als Széchenyi<br />
Heilbad. Sowohl als Strand-, als auch als Heilbad erfreut sich<br />
das Széchenyi-Bad großer Beliebtheit.
