<strong>HU</strong>NGARIAN STATE OPERA HOUSE<br />
September 24, 1884 was the long opening of the Budapest Opera<br />
House, and the great opening celebration was enhanced by the<br />
presence of Karl Franz Jozef. The awaiting crowd of the Sugár<br />
road was so excited to see the interior that they swept aside<br />
the guarding policemen and ran into the palace-like institute.<br />
Although, the name of the road has since been changed, the<br />
building is still beautiful and is a favourite of opera lovers.<br />
DIE UNGARISCHE STAATSOPER<br />
Am 27. September 1884 ist der ersehnte Moment gekommen,<br />
als in großer Feierlichkeit in der Anwesenheit von Franz Joseph<br />
I. das Budapester Opernhaus seine Tore geöffnet hat. Die<br />
neugierige Menschenmasse ist in den Palast an der Sugár út<br />
hineingestürzt, um ihn zu bewundern. Seit dem sind einige Jahre<br />
vergangen, das prächtige Gebäude erwartet aber auch heute<br />
