SZENTENDRE
At the junction of the mountains and the plain land, on the bank of the Danube, lies the city of
museums and art, the cultural paradise of tourists, Szentendre with its more than two thousand years
of history. Its museums, galleries, and cozy cafes can be approached via streets of cobblestone,
and through narrow alleyways. Szentendre houses the Open Air Museum of Ethnography, which
presents folk architecture, and the life of Hungary’s most characteristic regions.

Die Stadt der Museen und Künste liegt an der Donau, an der Kreuzung der Berge und der
ebenen Landschaft. Das fast 2000jährige Szentendre ist ein Kultur-Paradies für Touristen. Die
Straßen mit Kopfsteinpflaster, enge Gassen führen zu den Museen, Galerien und gemütlichen
Cafés. In Szentendre befindet sich das ethnografische Freilichtmuseum, wo die markantesten
Landschaften, die Volksarchitektur und das Leben der Bewohner präsent sind.

caffetterie della città. Szentendre ospita il Museo Etnografico all’aperto che presenta l’architettura
popolare e delle aree più caratteristiche dell’Ungheria e la vita degli abitanti.

városa, a turisták kulturális paradicsoma a közel 2000 éves múltra visszatekintő Szentendre.
Macskaköves utakon, szűk sikátorokon keresztül közelíthetők meg a város múzeumai, képtárai,
hangulatos kávézói. Szentendre ad otthont az ország legjellegzetesebb tájainak, népi építészetét
és lakóinak életét bemutató Szabadtéri Néprajzi Múzeumnak is.
