Boundaries group <strong>and</strong> click in Region 1,<br />

Region 2 <strong>and</strong> Region 3.<br />

Create four layers with the following<br />

settings.<br />

Layer Lineweight Linetype<br />

Construction 0.00 mm Continuous<br />

Object 0.30 mm Continuous<br />

Centerline 0.00 mm CENTER2<br />

Hatch lines 0.00 mm Continuous<br />

Create the following drawing in different<br />

layers. Do not apply dimensions.<br />

<br />

Press ENTER to create hatch lines.<br />

Save the drawing as Crank.dwg <strong>and</strong> close.<br />

Setting the Properties of Hatch lines<br />

You can set the properties of the hatch lines such as<br />

angle, scale, transparency in the Properties panel of<br />

the Hatch Creation ribbon.<br />

Type H <strong>and</strong> press ENTER; the Hatch<br />

Creation tab appears in the ribbon.<br />

Select the Pattern option from the Hatch<br />

Type drop-down in the Properties panel.<br />
