Select the lower left corner of the sliding<br />

door as base point.<br />

Move the pointer <strong>and</strong> select the endpoint of<br />

the offset line, as shown.<br />

Press Esc to deactivate the Copy <strong>com</strong>m<strong>and</strong>.<br />

Now, you need to draw thresholds on the door<br />

openings.<br />

Zoom to the front door area using the Zoom<br />

Window tool.<br />

Type-in L in the <strong>com</strong>m<strong>and</strong> line <strong>and</strong> press<br />

Enter.<br />

Press <strong>and</strong> hold Shift key <strong>and</strong> click the right<br />

mouse button.<br />

Select From from the shortcut menu <strong>and</strong><br />

click the endpoint of the door opening, as<br />

shown below.<br />

Move the point on the horizontal line <strong>and</strong><br />

type-in 3, <strong>and</strong> then press Enter. This defines<br />

the start point of the line at 3 distance from<br />

the endpoint.<br />

On the status bar, click the down arrow next<br />

to the Object Snap button <strong>and</strong> make sure<br />

that Endpoint, Nearest <strong>and</strong> Perpendicular<br />

options are selected.<br />

Move the pointer up <strong>and</strong> type-in 2, <strong>and</strong> then<br />

press Enter.<br />
