Creating the second section<br />

1. Click 3D Model > Work Features > Plane ><br />

Offset from Plane on the ribbon.<br />

4. Click OK .<br />

5. On the ribbon, click the 3D Model > Sketch ><br />

Start 2D Sketch.<br />

6. Select the newly created datum plane.<br />

7. Right click <strong>and</strong> select Center Point Circle from<br />

the Marking Menu.<br />

8. Select the origin point, move the cursor outside,<br />

<strong>and</strong> click to create a circle.<br />

9. Right click <strong>and</strong> select OK.<br />

10. Right click <strong>and</strong> select General Dimension from<br />

the Marking Menu.<br />

11. Select the circle, move the cursor outward, <strong>and</strong><br />

click.<br />

12. Type 1.574 <strong>and</strong> press Enter.<br />

2. Select the XZ plane from the Browser window.<br />

13. Click Finish Sketch on the ribbon.<br />

Creating the Loft feature<br />

1. To create a loft feature, click 3D Model > Create<br />

> Loft on the ribbon; the Loft dialog appears.<br />

2. Select the Rails option from the dialog.<br />

3. Enter 8.858 in the Distance box.<br />
