2. Click 3D Model > Sketch > Start 2D Sketch on<br />

the ribbon.<br />

3. Select the XZ plane.<br />

4. Click Sketch > Create > Circle > Ellipse on<br />

the ribbon.<br />

5. Draw the ellipse by selecting the points, as<br />

shown.<br />

11. Click Finish Sketch.<br />

12. Click 3D Model > Sketch > Start 2D Sketch on<br />

the ribbon.<br />

13. Select the YZ plane from the graphics window.<br />

14. Click Sketch > Create > Line> Spline<br />

Interpolation on the ribbon.<br />

6. On the ribbon, click Sketch > Constrain ><br />

Dimension.<br />

7. Select the ellipse, move the cursor downward,<br />

<strong>and</strong> click.<br />

8. Type 1.968 <strong>and</strong> press Enter.<br />

9. Select the ellipse, move the cursor toward left,<br />

<strong>and</strong> click.<br />

10. Type 0.984 <strong>and</strong> press Enter.<br />

15. Select a point on the horizontal axis of the<br />

sketch; a rubber b<strong>and</strong> curve is attached to the<br />

cursor<br />

16. Move the cursor up <strong>and</strong> specify the second point<br />

of the spline; a curve is attached to cursor.<br />

17. Move the cursor up <strong>and</strong> specify the third point.<br />

18. Likewise, specify the other points of the spline,<br />

as shown.<br />
