The image and operational procedures of the architecture<br />
andinterior design firm Junsekino Architect and Design<br />
could be aptly described as simple, understated, and<br />
discreet, yet concealing something to be desired while also<br />
fostering the potential for flexible material utilization in<br />
numerous innovative ways. Under the leadership and<br />
direction of Jun Sekino, the studio investigates the diverse<br />
possibilities of materials through a process of design<br />
experimentation that pushes the limits of each material’s<br />
potential and further expands those limits by combining<br />
diversity and material limit pushing. The practice also<br />
emphasizes interaction and conforms to the architectural<br />
language that is undergoing rapid change in the digital age,<br />
albeit subtly and without explicit declaration.<br />
