3.3.4.1.1.4 PSTN: Leased line configuration<br />
PSTN modem types MT5634SMI-xx have the ability to work in Leased Line mode.<br />
In this mode, you are able to connect by phone two <strong>eWON</strong>s with simple wires.<br />
The two <strong>eWON</strong>s must have a MT5634SMI-xx modem.<br />
General Reference Guide <strong>eWON</strong> Configuration<br />
One side acts as the client and you must insert the LLCLT command in the init string.<br />
The other side acts as the server and you must enter the LLSRV command in the init string.<br />
The init string MUST start by LLCLT or LLSRV for LeasedLine mode operation but the init string can continue with other parameters.<br />
Example:<br />
LLSRV;AT&FE1&Q5&K3&D2&C1<br />
Or:<br />
LLSRV<br />
or<br />
LLCLT<br />
or<br />
...<br />
The link is established by the CLIENT. This <strong>eWON</strong> Client can be configured with following parameters:<br />
Note: Username and password of an user on the <strong>eWON</strong> Server.<br />
The <strong>eWON</strong> Server can be configured with following parameters:<br />
Modem Init String LLCLT<br />
Call direction allowed Outgoing Only<br />
Primary Server ' Phone number 0<br />
Primary Server ' User Name adm<br />
Primary Server ' Password adm<br />
Modem Init String LLSRV<br />
Call direction allowed Incoming Only<br />
• When the dial-out occurs, it takes up to 2 minutes to synchronize both <strong>eWON</strong>s.<br />
• The Server modem leased line (LLSRV) cannot generate outgoing calls, or it would generate an error.<br />
• The Client modem leased line (LLCLT) cannot receive incoming calls.<br />
