This control panel function is to allow you to erase some parts of the <strong>eWON</strong> storage area.<br />

General Reference Guide <strong>eWON</strong> Configuration<br />

Control Description<br />

Format All partitions<br />

Format All partitions Validating this checkbox will result in formatting /usr and /sys partitions.<br />

Format /sys partition Validating this checkbox will result in formatting /sys partition.<br />

Format /usr partition<br />

Erase config<br />

Validating this checkbox will result in:<br />

Formatting only /usr if /sys is not stored in it<br />

Formatting /usr AND /sys if you have chosen a storage configuration with /sys set to "0"<br />

Erase config files<br />

Validating this checkbox will result in erasing the <strong>eWON</strong> configuration, except for its<br />

communication information (comcfg.txt). Clicking on Execute after having selected this<br />

checkbox will disconnect you from your current <strong>eWON</strong> session.<br />

Erase program Validating the checkbox will result in erasing the <strong>eWON</strong> Basic script file program.bas.<br />

Format Historical Recording File System<br />

Validating this checkbox will result in erasing the 3 files that stores the <strong>eWON</strong>’s internal<br />

history, which means all of the three following controls together in this table.<br />

Validating the checkbox will result in erasing the binary format ircall.bin file that contains the<br />

binary values of all the Tags that are defined in the <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />

Validating the checkbox will result in erasing the text format events.txt file that contains the<br />

history of all of the (maximum) 762 last events that have been logged in <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />

Validating the checkbox will result in erasing the text format hst_alm.txt file that contains the<br />

history of the alarms for the Tags that have been defined in the <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />
