� Working Capital Comp<strong>on</strong>ents<br />
Working capital is the amount used by a business unit to meet out its daily<br />
requirements. It is also known as circulatory capital. The amount spent <strong>on</strong> payment<br />
of wages, salaries, stock purchased, raw material purchased, transportati<strong>on</strong> etc. are<br />
all examples of working capital.<br />
The working capital includes subcomp<strong>on</strong>ents as,<br />
I. Labour : The labour is required for the nursery for carrying out various skilled and<br />
unskilled operati<strong>on</strong>s like, seed bed preparati<strong>on</strong>, sowing, watering, weeding, pruning,<br />
bagging, media preparati<strong>on</strong> etc. A nursery <strong>on</strong> 1 hectare area producing <strong>on</strong>e lakh<br />
saplings and grafts requires labour as follows:<br />
