Typical Deficiency Symptoms<br />

1. Nitrogen (N): Yellow or pale green color of leaves. Drying of bottom leaves and<br />

short plant height.<br />

2. Phosphorous (P): Leaves developing red and purple color. Slow growth and late<br />

maturity is observed. Lower leaves dry and develop purple colours between veins.<br />

Leaf petioles also develop purple color.<br />
