Òàê êàê êàòàëèçàòîðû äàííîãî òèïà ïðåäíàçíà÷åíû äëÿ ïåðåðàáîòêè òÿæåëîãî è ñìåøàííîãî óãëåâîäîðîäíîãî ñûðüÿ, òî íàëè÷èå çíà÷èòåëüíîãî îáúåìà òðàíñïîðòíûõ ìàêðîïîð (V ìàêðî > 0.2 ñì 3 /ã) ñ ðàçìåðàìè áîëåå 800 A (D ìàêðî > 10 d ìîëåêóë ) ÿâëÿåòñÿ íåîáõîäèìûì.
