In 2013 voerde de toen 18-jarige Amina Sboui het eerste FEMEN-protest in Tunesië aan.
Haar arrestatie en detentie ontketende wereldwijd tal van protesten, wat uiteindelijk tot
haar vrijlating leidde. Drie jaar later is Amina nog even strijdlustig. Ze deelt haar huis met
haar vrienden uit de LGBT-gemeenschap, die zowel door hun familie als door de samenleving
worden verstoten. Via Amina leren we hun verhalen kennen: Sandra (travestiet), Ramy
(homo), Ayoub (homo), Atef (homo en travestiet).
Nous découvrons la face cachée d’Amina Sboui et de son quotidien. En 2013 à l’âge de 18 ans, elle a
été la première FEMEN à manifester sur les réseaux sociaux en Tunisie. Son arrestation a déchaîné
des protestations dans le monde entier, conduisant à sa libération. Trois ans plus tard, elle est toujours
aussi combative. Ses amis de la communauté LGBT, qui habitent chez elle, sont rejetés par leur famille
ainsi que par la société. À travers Amina, on plonge dans leurs histoires : Sandra (travesti), Ramy (gay),
Ayoub (gay), Atef (gay et travesti). Beaucoup d’événements imprévus s’enchainent et tout est pris sur

In 2013, Amina Sboui, who was 18 at the time, posted a photo of herself on Facebook, bare-chested with
the text ‘My body is mine and not the source of other people’s honour.’ written on her chest. This was
the first FEMEN protest in Tunisia. Her arrest caused a worldwide flow of protests, which resulted in
her release. Three years later, Amina is still very combative. We visit her in the house that she shares
with a group of LGBT friends. Being rejected by family and society, and the pain that causes it, are a
common thread through their lives.
