Tessa Boerman Boerman is a documentary maker and<br />
advisor in the field of film, media and inclusiveness. She<br />
is program advisor for the International Film Festival<br />
Rotterdam, for which she made the Black Rebels program in<br />
2017 and Pan African Cinema Today (PACT) in 2018 together<br />
with programmer Peter van Hoof. Tessa Boerman works<br />
together with The Nest Collective of Kenya and with Theater in the<br />
Park of Zimbabwe.<br />
Tsitsi Dangarembga ricfounded the International Images<br />
Film Festival for Women (www.icapatrust.org/iiff.html)<br />
in 2002 in response to the beauty contests and offer an<br />
alternative for the stereotypical images of and about women.<br />
Luciana Ceccatto Farah, a fourth-generation Brazilian<br />
of Syrian descent, studied Journalism in Belgium and Fine<br />
Arts in Brazil. She has curated exhibitions, collections<br />
and managed arts projects in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation<br />
Council) since 2005, as well as attending film and acting<br />
workshops at the Doha Film Institute. She wrote, produced and<br />
directed ’Somebody Clap for Me’, which was shot over 3 years in<br />
Uganda, with an all-East African crew of Maisha Film Lab alumni.<br />
