Resumo: Este trabalho menciona como a comunicação de interesse público e, em particular, a
fabricação de notícias, está passando por uma reformulação de conceitos. As novas tecnologias, que
dão voz midiática a cidadãos comuns, somam-se às estratégias dos produtores da notícia artificial e à
consciência das fontes em interagir intensamente com as redações movidas por interesses
particulares. Questiona-se, então, se este jogo será benéfico para a democracia e para o exercício do
Jornalismo e para a circulação de informações de caráter público.

ABSTRACT: This work mentions how the public benefit communication and particularly the news are
going through a concept reformulation. The news technologies which attribute mediatic voice to
common citizens are summed up to the artificial news producer´s strategies and to the consciousness
of the sources in interacting intensively with the editorial staff moved by private benefits. So we
question whether this game will be useful for the democracy and for the Journalism practice, besides
the circulation of public trait information.
