He followed Mr. Carter's lessons in<br />

the <strong>Educator</strong> some time ago.<br />

CONGRATULATIONS<br />

"<strong>The</strong> Clarenette" has been received<br />

from Miss Dorothy Fishel, a teacher<br />

in the Clarendon School, Canton,<br />

Ohio. This is a little class paper.<br />

It contains excellent reproductions of<br />

the winners of a penmanship contest<br />

held by the school.<br />

Some beautifully written slips have<br />

been received from Arnold C. Gorling,<br />

659 Maryland Street, Winnipeg,<br />

Man., Canada. <strong>The</strong>se slips contain<br />

phrases which Mr. Gorling uses in<br />

criticizing pupils daily practice. Mr.<br />

Gorling evidently believes in using<br />

encouraging phrases and any pupil<br />

should be highly pleased to receive<br />

such complimentary well written<br />

comments on his paper.
