(41) CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY [CO]<br />
A certificate allowing the occupancy or use <strong>of</strong> a building and certifying<br />
that the structure or use has been constructed or will be used in<br />
compliance with this Ordinance and all other applicable regulations.<br />
(42) CHILD CARE FACILITY – SEE DAY CARE CENTERS<br />
(43) CIVIC USES<br />
Uses intended to serve as public gathering places. Such uses include<br />
governmental <strong>of</strong>fices, post <strong>of</strong>fices, and non-pr<strong>of</strong>it or charitable clubs and<br />
organizations.<br />
(44) CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT<br />
Cluster development means the grouping <strong>of</strong> buildings in order to<br />
conserve land resources and provide for innovation in the design <strong>of</strong> the<br />
project including minimizing stormwater run<strong>of</strong>f impacts. This term<br />
includes nonresidential development as well as single-family residential<br />
and multi-family developments.<br />
(45) CLUSTER HOUSING<br />
A development design technique that concentrates buildings in specific<br />
areas on a site to allow remaining land to be used for recreation,<br />
common open space, or the preservation <strong>of</strong> historically or<br />
environmentally sensitive features.<br />
(46) COLONNADE<br />
A series <strong>of</strong> regularly spaced columns supporting an entablature and<br />
usually one side <strong>of</strong> a ro<strong>of</strong> structure.<br />
(47) COMMERCIAL USE<br />
All retail sales or wholesale business establishments marketing goods<br />
and services. Examples include retail shops, restaurants,<br />
hotels/motels/inns, convenience stores, etc.<br />
(48) COMMERCIAL VEHICLE<br />
Includes any motor vehicle designed or used principally for carrying<br />
things other than passengers and includes a motor vehicle to which has<br />
been added a cabinet box, platform, rack or other equipment for the<br />
purpose <strong>of</strong> carrying merchandise or equipment other than the person or<br />
effects <strong>of</strong> the passengers.<br />
(49) CONGREGATE HOUSING<br />
Any Florida Department <strong>of</strong> Health and Rehabilitative Services licensed<br />
building or buildings, section <strong>of</strong> a building, or distinct portion <strong>of</strong> a<br />
building, residence, private home, boarding home, home for the aged, or<br />
other place, whether operated for pr<strong>of</strong>it or not, which undertakes through<br />
its ownership or management to provide, for a period exceeding 24<br />
hours, housing, food service, and one or more personal services for adult<br />
resident clients, not related to the owner or administrator by blood or<br />
marriage, who require such services.<br />
