(242) SUSTAINABLE<br />

Having the ability to accommodate and maintain population growth and<br />

economic expansion through efficient use <strong>of</strong> municipal infrastructure and<br />

services.<br />

(243) TEMPORARY STRUCTURE<br />

A structure without any foundation or footings and that is removed when<br />

the designated time period, activity or use for which the temporary<br />

structure was erected has ceased. This includes a moveable structure<br />

while it is located on land which can be used for housing, business,<br />

commercial or <strong>of</strong>fice purposes either temporarily or permanently.<br />

(244) TEMPORARY USE<br />

A use established for a fixed period <strong>of</strong> time, with the intent to<br />

discontinue such use upon the expiration <strong>of</strong> such time, and does not<br />

involve the construction or alteration <strong>of</strong> any permanent structure.<br />

Examples include monitoring stations, mobile classrooms or <strong>of</strong>fice space,<br />

construction trailers and guard houses, manufactured housing placed on<br />

a lot for temporary housing while principal home renovations are done<br />
