1.15 ICT Requirements of DES
Modern updated computers, printers, fax and photo state machines for Head
Quarter and district offices are required. All these requirements has already
been proposed under13 th Finance Commission Action Plan. There will be
requirement of computer infrastructure for Block Statistical Offices. In new
era more emphasis has been given to paper less official work, keeping in view
the modern requirements of this department palmtops in phased manner can
be provided to investigators, who performed the field functions relating to data
collection, so that data collection and tabulation work can become easy, quick
and authentic.
