Manpower is the most important issue to be addressed. First of all there is need
to thorough cadre review of all categories of posts. Post of Agriculture
economist and Agriculture Statistical Officer may be replaced with Deputy
Director and Assistant Director respectively. The post of Statistical officer can
be replaced from AASO and Technical assistant. In this way actual creation
remain for Statistical Investigator/DEO* category. Field functionaries at block
level are must to generate a comprehensive & authentic data base on various
indicators and there field work can be handled by the Block Statistical Officer
of the Economics &Statistics Department.
2 Proposed Building infrastructure
It is prime responsibility of the Head of Department to ensure sufficient
accommodation at Head Quarter and District offices.
3 Vehicles:
For effective administration including supervision and inspection a provision
of one taxi should be there.
4 Furniture:
Provision of ` 2.00 Lakh for procurement of furniture is to be provided.
