c) Methodology
Statistics on drinking water and sanitation are collected through monitoring of
the Sub-division level and onward transmission to the Executive Engineer of the
concerned Circle. This is scrutinized and compiled for the Circle and sent to the
Zonal Chief Engineer of the concerned Zone. The statistics is compiled for the
Zone and sent to the Engineer-in-Chief of the Department where it is scrutinized
and consolidated for the State.
