Mpande's great izinceku (attendants in a king's household responsible for
the performance ofcertain domestic duties, and for private services for the
king) were Vumandaba kaNtethi of the Biyela; Mfinyeli kaNguzalele of
the Xulu; Mzwakali kaCicazana of the Mthimkhulu; Phakathwayo
kaSogodi of the Khanyile; Mvunyelwa of the DWadhla; Sijulana
KaMcikwana of the Buthelezi; Mzilikazi kaNgqengelele Buthelezi;
Magamudele kaKIwana Buthelezi; Nomnombela kaMfaba of the Dunge;
and Dazukile kaDWakadhla ofthe Sibiya."
