Traffic situations (category S)<br />

This classification of <strong>street</strong> <strong>lighting</strong> serves right for the study and is according to the MEEuP<br />

Methodology (VHK, 2005) as we are looking for product groupings that are functionally<br />

similar. And by consequence a similar group of design options would apply to improve its<br />

environmental performance. In the following tables, an overview is given of the classes used in<br />

this study and their related performance requirements.<br />

Guideline EN/TR 13201-1 and standard EN 13201-2 are summarised hereafter (simplified<br />

version) in table 1.<br />
