EXHIBIT I
Welfare and Institutions Code Section 16010 mandates that the Case Plan for every
child in foster care include a summary of the child’s health and education information
and that a copy of the summary be attached to all court reports. DCFS is utilizing the
CWS/CMS Health and Education Passport (HEP) document for this purpose. The HEP
will automatically be updated and revised each time new health and/or education data
are entered into CWS/CMS.
