E20001 Carryout cleaning, polishing and greasing of 02 Nos propeller post docking by removing the securing screws from the propeller boss and refitment. E20002 Carry out metal build up, grinding and balancing of propeller post inspection and as per MQC recommendation. E20003 Renew SS locking pin of propeller as per MQC recommendation. E20004 Examine and Check clearances of both shaft stern tube bushes, Plummer block Bearings and ‘A’ brackets bearing of shafts by feeler gauge (i) Renew stern tube outer oil seal, newark type seal, matsynthetic rubber and ph. Bronze flanges (male and female sealing flange) (ii) Renew stern tube inner side gland hemp packing (matgreased hemp, size 1/2 inch sq x 420mm long x 08 no, shaft dia 114 mm). 02 Nos 02 Nos 02 Nos 02 Nos 02 Nos E20005 If stern tube clearance found beyond permissible limits, withdraw shaft and stern tube bushes (fwd and aft) carry out following repairs as per inspection and recommendation of MQC (quote separately). Separately quoted cost will be included for calculation of L1. (i) Renew stern tube bushes (Mat gun metal with 5 mm thick white metal lining, 115x147x362 & 114x148x248 mm length) and machine the bushes to reduce the clearance within minimum permissible limits. (ii) Withdraw shaft and check trueness of shafts, carry out metal build up / insert sleeves on both journals (fwd & aft) machine and journals to be made smooth and mirror finish as per MQC instructions. Resight shaft line and align shaft with respect to gear box. (iii) Check and renew split roller Plummer bearing 02 Nos (self aligning ball bearings Type SN 520 Series), bearing grease to be renewed.) (iv) Renew bulkhead glands hemp packing (matgreased hemp, size 1/2 inch sq x 370 mm long x 08 no, shaft dia 90 mm). (v) Inspect shaft couplings, coupling key and keyways, coupling nut and renew. E20006 Carry out renewal of ‘A’ Bracket thordon bushes with carrier and correction of eccentricity if any. Renewal of bushes and machining instruction as per inspection report and recommendation of MQCE. E20007 02 in nos. sea chest grating to be opened, Mud Box/Sea tube to be chipped, cleaned and inspected. Repair / renew as necessary, Anode to be renewed in side mud box/sea tube and to be painted with approved paint scheme. E20008 Overhaul and clean both hydraulic rudder motor(Type HSG TK 70), renew top & bottom oil seals, piston seals, “O” rings as per sample and refit relief valves(set pressure40 kg/cm2).
