Activity Description Remove the old hemp packing Check the feeler gauge clearances E20011 Defect Description If clearances found beyond permissible limits, withdraw rudder stocks and renew bushes, sleeves, repair rudder journals and restore to design clearances. Details of bushes and sleeves as below. (i) Bushes: Mat GM BS 1400, LG 3C; Length 260 mm; ID 122 mm; OD 152 mm (ii) Sleeves: Mat Phosphor Bronze BS 1400PB 1C; Thickness 6 mm; ID 110 mm, Length480 mm; shrunk fitted Activity Description (i) Inspect the rudder stock journal and rudder bushes check the ovality and taper (ii) Rectify the defect and restore the initial clearances. Steering hydraulic motor driven pump (Type M 4) to be overhauled and gears, shafts, bearing seals, 02 in nos electrically operated maneuvering valves to be renewed (Type S 35 P, 24 V DC, make Tenfjord). (Working pressure 40 Kg/cm2, testing pressure 60kg/cm2). Prove pump post overhauling. ). Qty 01 1 3 3 Activity Description Dismantle pump and its components; mark each part for its location and identification. Clean each part, Gauging of parts. Damaged/ worn out parts to be renewed. Check new spares of OEM make only, gauging and final boxing up inspection. Maneuvering valves to be cleaned. Checked for internal leakages of the spool. Check the continuity of the solenoid coil, renew seal. Oil tank to be thoroughly cleaned, clean the magnetic filter for any metal chips, assemble all the components, charge with fresh oil and conduct performance trial in workshop / on board. All pressure gauged to be calibrated with approved Government lab. Any gauge found damaged then renew with same range, calibration certificate to be submitted to QC(E) office Defect Description Overhaul and repair 01 in No. steering hand operated wheel pump (Type H 33) and transmitter, renew worn out parts as per MQC inspection.
