vi) Check for identification tallies. Tallies should be
suitable, visible, durable, reliable, identified & tally
material should be durable, quality material. Like for
example aluminum metal/PVC engraved tally. vii)
Check for Identification tallies for panel internal and
external as per drawing/ requirement/OEM specified.
viii) Check for numbers / ferrules of wiring end
terminal as per circuit diagrams. It should be visible,
proper size, quality material, suitable and durable.
ix) Check for sleeve over cable joints, at cable
terminal ends, For over Cable joints/ Cable end
terminal /over lugs heat shrink sleeve / PVC sleeve to
be used. Confirming IS Standard only.
Remarks : (A) For QC clearance Repair, refurbishment / installation / fitment &
testing /commissioning of Electrical DL’s on the ship /craft/boat

© (i) CHP (Customer Hold point ) The contactor is not to proceed further till approval of QC

(ii) Calibration certificate of Sensor, counter, timer, relays, Control PCB’s, Cut Out,
Gauges & measuring instruments to be submitted. If requirement of re­calibration, To be
carried from approved Govt lab.
(iii) Test certificates of material / spares from OEM make / Government approved lab to
be
provided / submitted. New material used during overhauling / New installation
of STP, bill/voucher copies to be provided/ submitted. (IV) Firm has to offered in
stage wise / in process inspection that are Removal, Opening, overhauling,
Installation and load trials & commissioning for QC checks. If HAT & SAT trials
reports and Ship issued WDC to be submitted for preparation for inspection Note.
(v) Additional QC checks may be undertaken in case of repeated failure.
