Activity Description Check the opening up bearing clearances after removing of propeller and marna gland from aft side and hemp packing from fwd side and plummer block roller ball feeler gauge clearances if bearing is in roller type or oil clearances if white metal bearing (i) Removal of marna gland, carryout visual and dimensional inspection of marna gland assembly, which includes male, female , wearing plates, joints and compression rubbers.
