As an example, examine the second row of the table (corresponding to October 2, after cleaning). The 10<br />

contamination defects were (10/23)=43.5% of all defects.<br />

The Rate Per Case table divides each count in the frequency table by the total number of cases.<br />

For example, in the first row of the table (October 1, after cleaning), the 12 contamination defects are from<br />

50 units, making the rate per unit 24%.<br />

The Share Chart presents two bar chart columns. The bar chart on the left shows the Share of Responses<br />

as a divided bar chart. The bar length is proportional to the percentage of responses for each type. Since a<br />

bar in one sample might reflect a much higher frequency than a bar in another sample, the bar chart on the<br />

right shows the number of responses. The bar filled with a gradient means the the number of responses for<br />

that bar is more than the width of the bar chart allows.
