Mixture Designs<br />

When analyzing a mixture design, JMP constrains the ranges of the factors so that settings outside the<br />

mixture constraints are not possible. This is why, in some mixture designs, the profile traces appear to turn<br />

abruptly.<br />

When there are mixture components that have constraints, other than the usual zero-to-one constraint, a<br />

new submenu, called Profile at Boundary, appears on the Prediction Profiler popup menu. It has the<br />

following two options:<br />

Turn At Boundaries<br />

Stop At Boundaries<br />

maintained.<br />

lets the settings continue along the boundary of the restraint condition.<br />
