Select the Shared Ethernet Adapter (in this example, ent5), and in the<br />

following dialogue choose to keep the informati<strong>on</strong> in the database:<br />

3. run diagmenu, select Task Selecti<strong>on</strong> → Hot Plug Task → PCI Hot Plug<br />

Manager → Replace/Remove a PCI Hot Plug Adapter, and select the<br />

physical adapter ent0 to be removed or replaced. Select replace as the<br />

operati<strong>on</strong> and press Enter. You will be presented with the following output:<br />

Press Enter as directed and the next message will appear:<br />

been set to the acti<strong>on</strong> state. Replace the PCI card<br />

in the identified slot and press Enter to c<strong>on</strong>tinue.<br />

Enter x to exit. Exiting now leaves the PCI slot<br />

in the removed state.<br />

4. Locate the blinking adapter, replace it, and press Enter. The system will show<br />

the message Replace Operati<strong>on</strong> Complete.<br />
