Tip: For easier c<strong>on</strong>figurati<strong>on</strong> and debugging, keep the naming c<strong>on</strong>venti<strong>on</strong><br />

c<strong>on</strong>sistent. Use either short or full qualified host names for all managed<br />

partiti<strong>on</strong>s and the PLM Server. Check your /etc/hosts or DNS entry again<br />

when the problem persists.<br />

6.4.3 Troubleshooting the PLM server<br />

This secti<strong>on</strong> discusses various PLM problems when starting the PLM server and<br />

problems you may experience after the start of PLM.<br />
