Figure 2-10 <strong>on</strong> page 52 shows two <str<strong>on</strong>g>POWER</str<strong>on</strong>g> Hypervisor dispatch cycles for two<br />

partiti<strong>on</strong>s with a total of six virtual processors dispatched <strong>on</strong> to two physical<br />

CPUs.<br />

Partiti<strong>on</strong> 1 is defined with an entitlement capacity of 0.8 processing units, with<br />

two virtual processors. This allows the partiti<strong>on</strong> the equivalent of 80 percent of<br />

<strong>on</strong>e physical processor for each 10 ms dispatch window for the shared processor<br />

pool. The workload uses 40 percent of each physical processor during each<br />

dispatch interval.<br />
