Point-in-time rec<strong>on</strong>figurati<strong>on</strong> for partiti<strong>on</strong>s and PLM policies are both possible.<br />

6.3.1 Partiti<strong>on</strong> rec<strong>on</strong>figurati<strong>on</strong><br />

The HMC provides a mechanism to perform point-in-time or periodic<br />

rec<strong>on</strong>figurati<strong>on</strong> of the partiti<strong>on</strong>s it is c<strong>on</strong>trolling through the Scheduled<br />

Operati<strong>on</strong>s window of the HMC C<strong>on</strong>figurati<strong>on</strong> window, as shown in Figure 6-23.<br />

Select the partiti<strong>on</strong> for which you wish to program a dynamic rec<strong>on</strong>fgurati<strong>on</strong> (in<br />

which pops up the Add a Scheduled Operati<strong>on</strong> window, as shown in Figure 6-25<br />
