Virtual SCSI server adapter vhost2 has two Virtual Target Devices, vtscsi0 and<br />

vtscsi1. They are mapping Logical Volume rootvg_ztest0 and Physical Volume<br />

hdisk1 to vhost2 (is defined <strong>on</strong> slot 10 in HMC).<br />

The following commands are used to create our needed Virtual Target Devices:<br />

mkvdev -vdev datalv -vadapter vhost0<br />

mkvdev -vdev rootvg_ztest0 -vadapter vhost2<br />

mkvdev -vdev hdisk1 -vadapter vhost2<br />

Note: The names of the Virtual Target Devices are generated automatically,<br />

except when you define a name using the -dev flag of the mkvdev command.<br />
