Acknowledgements This evaluation of the World Bank’s organizational effectiveness was prepared by an IEG team led by Anis Dani. The evaluation was carried out under the guidance of Cheryl Gray (former Director) and Mark Sundberg (Manager), and the direction of Caroline Heider (Director General) and Vinod Thomas (former Director General).
