time. PSG has been flagged as a non-affili<strong>at</strong>ed theme in 29 percent and a nonaffili<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

sector in 48 percent of the oper<strong>at</strong>ions approved during FY07-10, compared<br />

to 31 percent and 79 percent in FY95-98. Oper<strong>at</strong>ions of other Sector Boards alloc<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

an average of 10 percent to the PSG theme during FY07-10, a slight increase from 9<br />

percent during FY95-98. But when considering PSG as a sector, the trend is reversed,<br />

with an average of 16 percent of other oper<strong>at</strong>ions alloc<strong>at</strong>ed to PSG sectors during<br />

FY07-10, compared to 20 percent during FY95-98.<br />

103. Like in environment, oper<strong>at</strong>ions mapped to the public sector governance<br />

Sector Board are becoming more specialized over time. During FY07-10, 25 percent<br />

of alloc<strong>at</strong>ions for oper<strong>at</strong>ions mapped to the PSG Sector Board were assigned to nonaffili<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

themes, a share th<strong>at</strong> has declined from 42 percent during FY95-98.<br />

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND GENDER<br />

104. <strong>The</strong> prevalence of Social Development and Gender as themes in oper<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

mapped to other Sector Boards appears to have declined over time. SDV and<br />

gender have been flagged in 16 percent of the oper<strong>at</strong>ions approved during FY07-10,<br />

a substantial decline compared to 25 percent during FY95-98. Oper<strong>at</strong>ions of other<br />

Sector Boards alloc<strong>at</strong>ed an average of 4 percent to the social development and<br />

gender themes during FY07-10, compared to 7 percent in FY95-98.<br />
